ABOUT ME

Jennifer is a Queens, New York native who started her artistic journey at 6 years old, drawing Saturday morning cartoon characters.
She graduated from Lehman College in 2015 with Bachelor's degrees in Studio Art (Painting) and Business Administration (Marketing). Jennifer has studied studio art abroad in Florence, Italy (2012), as well as Paris, France (2014).
She specializes in oil painting, but also enjoys exploring a variety of other traditional media, including watercolors, pastels, and ink.
Her goal is to create thought provoking, sometimes controversial, art that expresses her sentiments in an easily relatable format. She hopes to connect to her audience by expressing taboo subject matters from different perspectives, illuminating the often overlooked rawness or beauty. She is currently working on a series revolving around loss and depression.
In addition to drawing and painting, Jennifer's hobbies include photography, writing poetry and short stories, and traveling the world.
